My name is Bill Engstrom. As a young man one of my nicknames was Engybillstrom ….aka Envy). This is my doodle art page. I created most of these images as free form line drawings to help me get through long meetings. Doodling actually helped me concentrate, listen and take notes, particularly at times when there weren’t many notes to be taken.
Most of my doodles remained abstract things while others took more recognizable forms. Later, I added color and backgrounds. Eventually, a few painted and animated versions were created. They may not always be “cool” doodles, but I hope you enjoy some of them.
Doodling can be a great mindless escape from those long boring meetings. And, you don’t have to actually “create” anything. At some point I decided to save my doodles. I encourage all you doodlers to do the same, and keep on doodling!
Thank you for stopping by and checking out my Website.
A bit more about me….
I’m a geologist (retired) originally from Evanston, IL. I currently live in Arizona. Geology has taken me from the oil fields to environmental work and finally, teaching college. My wife is a retired operating room nurse and consultant. And, my three daughters are also in science and engineering professions. In addition to doodling, I have other hobbies, including drums/percussion. You may see some of the geological and musical influences in my doodles.
